It’s time to get those running shoes out of the closet because the Cold Storage Kids Run 2010 is back for the third year running!
Organised by Enterprise Sports Group (ESG), this year’s Cold Storage Kids Run will see parents motivating and cheering on their young ones as they take to the track for a healthy and active lifestyle.
The only running event tailored for children will also create an excellent opportunity for children looking at engendering a healthier lifestyle. And with parents cheering them on by their side – everyone goes home a winner.
Parents with young children aged 6 months – 2 years old, it’s never too early to get your children to embrace an active lifestyle! This year’s Cold Storage Kids Run 2010 introduces a new race category: Abbott Pram Chase; this race category allows you to take your toddler on a pram stroll alongside other parents like yourself.
Whether your child is a sports fanatic or not, grab this chance to get to know your child a little better as you both make a pact to start living an active and healthy lifestyle.

At the National Museum, Children’s Season will celebrate the joy and art of oral traditions through performances, activities, workshops, tours and storytelling. Stories help us to identify who we are in every culture, and the stories we share give our culture its values, beliefs, goals and traditions. Catch interesting performances – The Dandelion’s Story (Modl Theatre, Korea), The Gruffalo (Tall Stories Theatre Company, UK), Legend of the Magnificent Moon (Toto Tales, UK) and many more. Also not to be missed are the interactive and exciting children’s workshops!
The Singapore Art Museum (SAM) will present its first Children’s Season as part of the museum’s efforts to encourage children’s early engagement with, and learning through contemporary art. From 15 May to 18 July, families can pop by SAM to enjoy interactive art works that will appeal to both adults and children, with artist workshops, performances and special activities during weekends.
Over at the Memories at Old Ford Factory, families and kids will get to learn more aboutSingapore’s World War II experience through creative learning. Activities in the pipeline include storytelling sessions and cartoon drawing workshops.
